NSW: Bridge toll to rise to $3
SYDNEY, Dec 18 AAP - Motorists using the Sydney Harbour Bridge will be slugged $3 from
the New Year under a raft of extra road charges announced today.
The price hike applies from January 11.
NSW Transport Minister Carl Scully said the increase from $2.20 was necessary to pay
for around $260 million worth of vital road works.
"The price for not taking action now would result in a worse situation and greater
cost to the taxpayer in a few years' time," Mr Scully said.
