Byline: Associated Press Clifton Park man believed drowned HADLEY An 18-year-old Clifton Park man was believed dead after jumping from a bridge into a treacherous area of the Hudson River, authorities said. - Steven Romero disappeared shortly before 3 p.m. Friday after jumping with five friends from the Rockwell Falls Bridge, 15 miles west of Lake George, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Department. - Romero is believed drowned, said Sgt. Jeff Webster. - Young people body surfing in the rapids below the bridge, a very fast-moving area of the Hudson, the officer said. Police frequently warn them about the dangerous practice. - Hadley is 46 miles north of Albany. …
